Forehead Brow Lift
The face tells a lot about a person, but often it tells things that people don’t want it to tell. Their age. Deep creases in the forehead, frown lines between the eyebrows, and low eyebrows can create a sad, tired, or overly-aged facial expression. For people who want to turn back the hands of time and enhance their appearance, they often turn to a forehead brow lift to make their face seem more youthful.
As with all surgeries, you will have a pre-op appointment. In this appointment, you will consult with your surgeon to talk about your goals for your forehead brow lift. Your surgeon will evaluate your entire forehead region from one ear to another (including your eyelids). You may be asked to make a series of facial expressions to see how your muscles work together and what techniques s/he will use to most effectively enhance the appearance of your face. There are different variations of a forehead brow lift that are chosen based on the shape and position of your eyebrows.
The forehead brow lift is typically done as an outpatient surgery. Bruising and swelling will occur, but based on the surgical technique used during the surgery it may last longer or diminish quickly. The healing rate is typically around 10 days, but people should avoid heavy lifting and vigorous exercise for at least a month after surgery.
A forehead brow lift is beneficial at turning back the hands of time. By making the eyes and forehead look less tired, it enhances a youthful appearance – one full of life and energy. If you are interested in a forehead brow lift, start saving. Insurance companies do not cover cosmetic surgical procedures, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have the face you desire.
